Payment Types

The Hosted Payment page supports payments and card validations.

Payments​

Payments transfer funds from cardholder to merchant through two steps:

Authorization validates the card and confirms fund availability. Approved funds are held until captured or released.

Capture transfers the held funds from the cardholder's account to the merchant's account.

Validations​

Card validations verify card details without processing a payment. Also called zero-value authentication, this process collects card number, CVV, and expiry date to perform Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) as a fraud prevention measure.

Note: Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported for payments only, not validations.
